This is probably my most pointless ask ever, but if anybody out there has any info on Murder And Sudden Death by John C. Woodiwiss & Christine Campbell Thomson (Quality Press, 1939) could they please enlighten me as to whether it's a factual study, novel or collection of short stories? I've seen a copy of one of Woodiwiss's solo efforts, Mad Or Bad? (Quality Press, 1950), a series of essays about Spring Heeled Jack, the London Monster and other colourful criminals, so if the CCT-assisted volume is more of the same its bound to be an interesting read.
