This is not the first time Singer raided Magazine Of Horror for forgotten gems (in this instance Ernst's outrageous, novel-length vampire epic and the lesser George B. Tuttle and Goldin stories). The Cloth Of Madness, one of Quinn's finest non-De Grandin's, Kipling's vintage The Phantom Rickshaw and The Plague Of The Living Dead likewise appeared in Lowdnes' magazine.
